Meet the Founders

Andy Proos, Co-Founder and President

In addition to co-founding Bluewire Audio with his daughter Emily in 2014, the Northborough, Mass., resident is currently a staff anesthesiologist at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass.  After four years of coming up with and thinking about his concept, he realized that his passion for running was affording him the opportunity to explore a brand new career path.

Emily Proos, Co-Founder and CEO

Emily is a Northborough, Mass., resident and recent graduate of Babson College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration.  Coming from a family of runners, Emily has contributed to her father’s efforts over the last few years to create a device that allows a runner to listen to music or other audio without the distraction caused by fumbling with earbuds or the potentially dangerous lack of awareness that earbuds and other traditional headphones can cause.

While at Babson, Emily was a member of the Butler Venture Accelerator Program and the women’s lacrosse team, as well as Chair of Cancer Education for the Babson College Against Cancer organization.

Emily’s business background is also comprised of management consulting work for Boston Beer Company and an internship with Affordable Interior Systems.
